Marie Benson is an admirable lady who has done an amazing job bringing up her two daughters, Jody Pickering and Emma Collins, and passing on her love of horses. The girls, with their mother’s guidance and support, have become talented young horse people showing great commitment to the Arabian breed through showing and breeding.
Jody and Emma are amateur competitors who have achieved amazing success to the highest level. Emma is a fantastic rider, achieving results such as Reserve Champion Ridden Arabian Mare when she was only 17, Victorian youth of the year two years running and various highpoint awards. After the retirement of her lovely mare El Raz Amira due to injury, Emma took on two young geldings, Shalizar and Tonka TuffFF, taking them from breaking in to winning Australian Championship titles under saddle with each of them. Shalizar won Australian Champion Gelding bridle path hack, a title made even more special given it was only his 5th show under saddle.

Jody has recently won her first Australian championship under saddle with her mare Cazna's County Filipa, this was their first 'home bred' horse to win an Australian Championship title. Jody also has a very keen interest in showing in halter, breeding and judging. She has always competed in Junior Judging and plans to sit her exams at the next sitting in Victoria.
Together they form Cazna's County Arabians. The bond between these three remarkable horse people was evident from their very first email to Impressive Web Design. Jody sent the email requesting consideration as a team, not as an individual, because in her words “our stud is a team effort, we breed, prepare and show as a family team.” So, Amy Gorman decided to offer an additional sponsorship to this team, for their dedication and loyalty to, not just their horses but to, each other.
